Frequently Asked Questions

Please find these questions and answers. If you have additional questions, by all means, contact us directly.

Q: What is a wrap made of?
A: A car wrap is a durable hi-tech vinyl covering that is applied directly to your car. Window sections are perforated to maintain safe visibiity.

Q: Will it damage my vehicle’s paint?
A: No. A car wrap‚ when applied and removed by a professional installer, does not damage your car’s factory paint. In all of our experiences, the only time a vehicle’s paint may be affected is in the case of a poor repaint job or if the paint is already damaged.

Q: How long does it last? Is there a warranty?
A: We provide both short and long term wraps. Short term wraps are appropriate for campaigns lasting up to 18 months. Long term wraps are durable for up to 5 years depending on your geographic region, and should not fade‚ crack‚ or peel. There is a limited manufacture's warranty on materials.

Q: What type of vehicles will work?
A: A car wrap can turn even the most ordinary vehicle into an eye-catching mobile billboard. Vans‚ Trucks‚ SUVs‚ Sedans... whatever‚ we can wrap it.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: An average mid-sized sedan will cost about $2,500 for a long term wrap. The cost of the wrap is based on 3 components: graphic design - an average of 5 hours of design time, printing - based on square footage of material needed to cover the vehicle and installation - based on size of the vehicle and complexity of the surfaces covered. I.E. Beetles have more curves and are harder to install than a boxy mini-van.

Q: Is financing available?
A: We currently accept Visa/Mastercard and checks.

Q: Can I use my own artwork and pictures?
A: Yes! We will be happy to utilize your existing artwork and designs. Please click here to download our "Preparing Your Files for Production" pdf (79k file size).

Q: What if I don't have my own artwork?
A: That’s OK too. We have award winning professional graphics designers who can work with you to design your wrap to your liking. Graphic design time is billed at $75 per hour.

Q: I live in a small town. Can you still help me?
A: Yes. We have a national network of PDAA or UASG certified installers and can typically set up your installation within a 30 mile radius of your location.

Q: How do I care for my wrap?
A: Hand washing is best, but brushless car washes can be used as well. Avoid power washers and be careful never to use an ice-scraper on the window sections. Sweeping off windows with a soft brush and using the rear defroster will not harm the window wrap.

Q: What if I dent my car‚ can my car wrap be fixed?
A: Yes. We can easily replace the damaged pieces or panels of your car wrap.

Q: How soon can I have my vehicle wrapped?
A: We will supply you with the final art design of your wrap electronically (PDF or JPG). Upon your approval of design, we can usually have your wrap installed in less than 2 weeks.
